About Our Restaurant

Good food is our passion, with homemade to order traditional style food which is sourced and used only from the best fresh British ingredients. Whether your popping in for a light lunch or a swift work lunch we can accommodate you with our light lunch menu £5.50. Alternatively if you are planning an evening meal we have an extensive restaurant menu with daily specials.

For those special events, such as family celebrations, parties or weddings we have a varied menu which can be tailored to your requirements.

Meet your family and friends for a traditional Sunday lunch from the Carvery. For only £8.95 or for the small appetite and for children £4.95. There are a choice of roast meats, cooked to perfection, served with mounds of crunchy roast potatoes and all the trimmings. Enjoy a long, relaxed traditional lunch from the carvery from 12-4 pm.

The restaurant is open for lunch 12-2.30pm and dinner 6-9.30pm(10pm Friday/Saturday). Closed Sunday nights.

All produce sourced locally where possible – most ingredients contain nuts, for special dietary requirements please ask in advance.

The Old Court Hotel dates back to the early 1700s and takes its name from the Court house.

100 years later the courts established opposite lawyers, judges and even the condemned would drink here.
